DollS MUSEUM

The V&A Museum of Childhood which is situated in place called Bethnal Green in the East End of London. This Museum . is a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum (the "V&A"), which is the national museum of applied arts in United Kingdom.

In 1872, The Prince of wales official inaugurated the Bethnal Green Museum.
The museum was founded in 1872 in the name of  Bethnal Green Museum by  reusing a prefabricated building from Albert polis which was latter on  replaced with various premature sections of the contemporary V&A compound. In this museum, variety of collections of different times was displayed. This collection even can be seen now at  Wallace Collection. In the 1920s museum attention began  on services for children, and in 1974 Sir Roy Strong, the director of the V&A distinct it as a dedicated museum of childhood.
The Bethnal Green Museum has the largest collection of childhood substance among all the museum in the United Kingdom.
The mission of the Bethnal Green Museum is "To enable everyone, especially the young, to explore and enjoy the designed world, in particular objects made for and made by children." The Museum has wide-ranging collections of childhood, toys, costumes equipment, and also planed stage programs for temporary exhibitions.
The second time extensive renovations of the museum was done in October 2005 which cost £4.7 million. Museum was closed in Oct and reopened after approximately 2 months on 9 December 2006 a with new gallery, café ,display and  front entrance.
